Bineesh K
Bineesh K is a passionate and accomplished theatre artist from Calicut, Kerala, with over nine years of dedicated experience in theatre, including children’s theatre and various creative performance platforms. Known for his strong creative vision and cognitive approach to performance, he has contributed significantly to the growth and development of stage arts through writing, directing, and mentoring.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts (2015–2018) and a Master’s Degree in Theatre Arts (2020–2022) from the School of Drama & Fine Arts. In recognition of his talent and contribution to the arts, he is also a recipient of the prestigious Vajra Jubilee Fellowship for Young Artists from the Kerala Culture Department.
Bineesh has written around twenty plays for both children and adults and has established himself as a skilled playwright, director, and acting coach. His play Velaayudhante Bheeman was selected for the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi’s Pravasi Natak Festival 2023, marking a significant milestone in his creative journey. In 2018, he received a nomination at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards for Best Direction and Choreography for the drama Pulijanmam.
Swami Thattva Theertha
Swami Thattva Theertha has been practising Yoga since 1979. He acquired advanced Yoga and Vedanta lessons from Guru Nithya Chaithanya Yathi who was then the director of East West University of Brahma Vidya. He got certified by him as a Yoga teacher in 1984 at the Ooty Gurukula and was initiated as a Sanyasi in 2015 as Swami Thattva Theertha. He has presented many papers on subjects such as Yoga, Vedanta and Shad darshans, etc at seminars. In addition, he has also been conducting spiritual classes and Yoga retreat programs in many places.
